Spontaneity is an under-appreciated dimension of spirituality. In fact, spiritual maturity has less to do with long-range visions than it does with moment-by-moment sensitivity to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. And it is our moment-by-moment sensitivity to the Holy Spirit that turns life into an everyday adventure.

Dear friend and neighbour and fellow traveller;
Uranus moves into Gemini 25 April. It’s there for seven years. Are you ready?
Uranus is astrology’s adventure muse. It represents a strong drive for freedom, spontaneity, and the exploration of new territories. This is why Uranus is often associated with inventions and innovation. A prominent Uranus in your horoscope indicates an untamed spirit, a thirst for adventure, and an innate desire to break free from routine and embrace the unexpected. This is a good thing.
Unfortunately, Uranus in Gemini has not been so good for diplomacy considering the last four times Uranus was in Gemini:
WW II/Cold War
War Date Range: 1939–1945
Uranus in Gemini Range: August 1941 – September 1948
American Civil War
War Date Range: 1861–1865
Uranus in Gemini Range: April 1859 – March 1871
American Revolutionary War (U.S. War of Independence)
War Date Range: 1775–1783
Uranus in Gemini Range: June 1774 – April 1782
Nine Years’ War (European Conflict)
War Date Range: 1688–1697
Uranus in Gemini Range: ~1690–1698
As you can see, our adventure spirit may be put to the test within the next 7 years (2026 — 2033). Uranus in Gemini is excellent for innovation, especially in regard to communication and information processing, but a bit troublesome when it comes to world affairs. Uranus compels people to sacrifice security for exploration, viewing life as a series of challenges and dares and unwilling to be confined by established standards.
Key characteristics associated with Uranus as an adventure muse includes the following — most are great for the individual, questionable for nations and the global community:
Spontaneity: A tendency to make last-minute plans and thrive on sudden changes rather than rigid schedules.
Rebellion: A natural inclination to question authority and disrupt the status quo in favor of personal liberty identities.
Innovation: A drive to pioneer new ideas, technologies, and ways of thinking.
Resilience: The ability to remain resourceful and capable during emergencies or chaotic situations.
What to do? Unfortunately, not much in regard to the world. What will help is to become more sophisticated in how we gather and assimilate information so we don’t fall victim to propaganda. This means we have to become keenly interested in seeking truth. Hint: spend more time listening to qualified centre-left or centre-right historians and pundits who avoid extremist views. Moderate voices is where we will usually find more wisdom.
As an individual, we can embrace this period which really began in earnest this year with Saturn and Neptune in Aries and Jupiter in Cancer, as a huge, possibly once in a lifetime opportunity to redirect our energy towards supporting our nature, the Self that shines when the past is not hammering us with falsehoods about who we are. It’s very challenging to do this, but we can support it through a lifestyle aimed at raising our vibration. If we struggle, it is only because our vibration is low. In such a state, we have a poverty of consciousness.
This means lifestyle, lifestyle, lifestyle. The answer is in the details, as they say. How do you eat? What do you eat? Do you go to bed 4 hours from your last food intake? Do you use cosmetics and body care products that are filled with toxins that require your body’s energy to eliminate? Do you move? Do you breathe fresh air? Do you get daily sunshine? What do you watch on the telly? Who do you spend your time with? What do you read?
This topic has a lot to say, but the idea is to get serious about raising your energy. Most issues I see are simply because people are wasting their energy resources through bad habits and bad choices. It’s really not that complicated to transform your life.
Start today. Then allow Uranus to guide you towards the adventure of a life time.
See you on the slopes of Mount Kailash.
🤗
Warm thoughts and many blessings,
David 🙏🏻
